I might as well be blowing snot at the metal.

I got my hood the other day, but today is the first chance I have had to test out my welding “skills.” Needless to say, I don’t have them any more.

Holy shit, I have to unlearn a lot. I was a MIG monkey for so long I picked up a bunch of really bad habits. My hands move wrong. I am having issues keeping the rod close. And I need to stop locking my arms into a position.

Well, it looks like practice and my grinder will be my best friends for a while.

But otherwise the old LincArc works like a charm. It runs smooth and clean, without a trace of trouble.
